That would be a good start. Alternator issue will cause battery light to display on gauge cluster as well.

Although a faulty or aged alternator can be an issue with keeping the battery charged, I doubt that would cause the battery to discharge while sitting a few days, as the OP suggests.
Most likely there's a shorted wire somewhere causing the drain, and the alt being not up to spec may cause no charging if the car is driven either, to complicate things.
Usually most repair shops will do a free or very cheap battery/alternator check to ensure those components are fine, which then leaves only a short or some rare occurrence to cause the issue in most cases.
The OP needs to become more aware of general car repair and maintenance procedures, especially owning a Z32, as far too often his communications are difficult to read/understand and also the problems often are things that going through "normal" maintenance and repair procedures for first before then asking questions is the best, and normal course. This then gives questions we can answer rather than trying to hash through stuff he should have checked and tested first, and gives us info to work with in trying to help him...and failure to do so severely limits the chances he gets help.

^That or something not turning off when the key turns off. Also the security system can cause a battery drain if the hood latch sensor is not secured properly.
