300zx NA brake upgrade

How long should the process take? Gonna put them on in the next couple of days (on an S13) and I was wondering if any of you have run into any snags along the way. The only problem that I have read up on is the splash guard thing that you need to cut off, otherwise it is bolt on. Am I hearing correctly? Anything to worry about, or is it a cake walk, beside needing someone to help bleed the brakes.
