I was reading the 300zx brake upgrade and was curious if anyone has done the following. has anyone just upgraded the 240 master cylinder to the 300zx master cylinder? was there any noticable difference. im planning on doing the front calipers and rotors, just dont have the money right now.

Also i was curious if anyone has thought of using the g35 brake calipers(brembo) and rotors? not sure if it was covered before or not. im guessing it would prob be too expensive when the 300zx brake upgrade is prob almost as good. or it wont bolt up.

I am just about to do the swap to my car, I ordered the tociko unit wich uses a european style bubble flair for one of the front lines so I am looking for an adapter fitting. As soon as I find what I need and my SS brake lines and Motul 600F fluid come in I will be ready to tackle this job and get you some more info. ETA of upgrade 4-5 days.

Hey man,

Thanks for the tip, I was going to get one from Russells Brake Lines. I am not sure what "kit" your talking about. Explane and I'll be happy to get you all the info I can.

It's a VW style bubble flair, if possible order the other manufactured unit that was made by NABCO which just plugged the hole with an allen style screw... the NABCO unit has the correct nissan style fitting..

Freak is correct about the other master cylinder, I could not find the Nabco unit for a reasonable amount so I ordered the Tokico unit from NOPI for $87.00 everyone else wanted around $150 for the Nabco unit. So far I have had no luck finding an adapter after placing calls to Russells and Techna-Fit. Looks like I might have to make my own out of two diferrent units.
