your better off with a reflash for reliablity and you gurantted that you have to tuning you need for you set up

i just want to run a 300zx just to have one, and built the motor from little to little. so i would go with the safc. but when i upgrade the turbo and head i will run a reflash. sounds good to me.

ok, so i had the same idea you had. z32 maf- i dont have upgraded injectors or a upgraded turbo. i have the apexi neo safc. So you do need one, but the new MAF is bogging my motor down. i know i need to get it tuned, but not shur if thats gonna fix the problem. your stock maf is all you need untill you push 300HP. The key thing to these motors is getting them tuned on a dyno. It'll be worth it, i'll prove it to you in the next 2 weeks. i finally have a 1000 miles so i can get it tuned

The more you build hp and $ into a motor the more you need a fuel computer or piggyback ECM.

BTW Schanne did you fix your overheat you never reposted

LOL, I did fix it. I didn't think anyone looked at old posts about the same thing over and over again. Thanx for the help, no over heating. but the motor boggs down in 1st and 2nd gear. thats another post though.
