im searching for an MAF to buy to hookup to the selin dual intake and had some questions. some sellers ive contacted said they have an N62 MAF, which the 300zx NA or TT has, BUT has different color pigtail harnesses. I recall reading that orange was the only color that indicated a true N62 MAF. Is this the case and the seller is trying to pass a different MAF as an N62? I know that many of the Nissan MAFs look similar, such as the N60 with a smaller opening than the N62, so I want to make sure I am buying the right product.

Thanks.

Buy it from Specialty Z used, or another known good seller. Not worth the risk, IMHO.

Some good info on the subject

yeah i hate giving in to the man... i always try to find a way to pay a lower price by piecing stuff together. looks like this might be something to bite the bullet to guarantee OEM.

They sell good condition used ones. No sense in buying a new OEM Nissan MAF for $400+ when the one on your car is used already.

BTW, there is no harness at all on a Z32 MAF. Just a connector.

Just straight pipe it with no MAF. Less restriction = mad horsepower

If it's not an N62 you can't use it.
