Hey guys, while i was at the local 'pick and pull' i spotted a 300zx that had the rear-end intact with the brakes and whole shabang. Im wondering if I unbolt the entire alumnium knuckle/carrier will these work with my stock s13 rear end?

Im just worried the 5-bolt pattern hubs from the 300zx...

sort of, read about sport compact car's project silvia.

i assume you are talking about the '90-96 300zx, (Z32). your 4 lug hubs will work if you want to stay 4 lug, as long as you redrill the z32 rotors.

The z32 knuckles will work, but you have to use the 300zx strut assembly, which supposedly fit the s13.

strut assembly supposedly fits, however I recommed not using it. Dampening and spring rates are higher, due to the z's weight. What I do recommend doing however, is getting the z's shocks, and using 240sx koni inserts w/them. This will give you the right mounting poing, and killer dampening. I think, springs are interchangeable, but I'd do some measuring beforehand.

well i went back to the wrecking yeard today and managed to get the calipers, e-brake shoes w/ hardware with the cables. I left the rotors since that were down to the limts... but I left the knuckle w/ mounting plate since I left my gear puller at home (can't belive it did that.

The whole idea behind this is keeping it 4-lug with z32 rear brakes, but Im having trouble finguring something out. Do I need the z32 knuckle, or can I use its mounting plate with our stock iron knuckles?

Rich

I said screw it to the aluminum uprights, since the price was out of my wallet.
