300zx keyless entry

Hey just bought a alarm for my car but my car is a 1990 that does not come with the door actuator on the drivers side... can I simply take one of a 1995 or 1996 300zx actuator and mount it on my z?!? Thanks

May need some fabrication. Not sure. Your alarm system didn't come with actuators?

I'm talking about the part that has to be put on the drivers door to be able to use the alarm remote to unlock it with out using the key... I saw a forum about it buy they used a aftermarket one I just wanted to know if anyone has used the stock actuator on the 300zx 1995 or 1996?

I'm sure an aftermarket actuator is cheapest option, unless you have a parts car or can get the oem one cheap. Either one will work the same
