300zx Key Code?

Damn it..I took my Z to the dealership the other day and I had the key code from the glove box in my hand....lost it on the way back to the car...Is there any way to retrieve the key code so that the dealership can cut an exact key for my ignition? Maybe they can pull it up by the VIN? I got this really cool key and I want it cut!!

Now all you have to do is find a spot for a GT-R badge on your Z.

Anyway, you could get that cut about anywhere. A friend of mine just ordered a new key and had it cut at a little place, the guy just almost said he wouldn't do it because he might mess it up and couldn't replace the key.

A key shop should be able to cut your "GT-R" key without a problem from one of your existing keys. If you want the dealership to cut it, they can get your Key Code from nissan north america by using your vin number.
