I took the iacv of my old plenum to clean I took the aac of to push the spring down to get all the gunk inside out anyways I put It back together and noticed that when I put the aac back the spring wouldn't push the black tube all the way in but when I take the acc out he spring does push it all the way in could it be that it's supposed to stay opened a bit or is the spring weak?!

Imagine most of the moving parts are temperature driven and ECM controlled, plus they can probably be electrically tested.

Yeah, you don't touch the internals of those parts. Spray with WD-40, soak shake and blow out with low pressure compressed air. Repeat.

I took it completely apart and had no problems getting it back together. Just take pictures with your cell phone of where everything goes and make sure you have the right tools.

Then again, the other way is easy like BigTDogg said
