other than the molding and brackets and work done to the hood, how hard would it be to wire them together? or just how would u make it work? kinda a vague question... but yeah...

yeah, eastbear, abflug, one of them. but im not gunna spend 1000 bux on headlights... i was just simply saying getting used 300zx lights and putting them on a 240, i know u have to do things body wise, but wut would u have to electrically?

You'll spend a lot more than 1000 for the 300zx headlights, but they'd look nicer, IMO.

well i know the plugs will be different. i dont even know if the 300zx headlights use plugs like the s13's or not. but i wasnt also thinking that it shouldnt be *that* hard. maybe just fidn a friend that knows a little about electrical stuff and is familiar wit it is all u really need to do... but of course this is all just speculation... anyoen wanna spill dem beans?

The wiring wouldn't be very difficult at all. Although whether you wanna fabricate connectors using old 300ZX connectors or whichever, it would change the install time big time. If you wanted to just splice the wires so that they work, then it would be as simple as matching up the correct wires.

a guy locally that works at a body shop has this headlight conversion done, and to say the least they look kinda stupid. the eastbear/abflug kits would look much better IMO.

wiring would be easy, goto local parts store and purchase 9006 (lowbeam) and 9005 (highbeam) plugs, and splice that into the s13's h4 (same as 9003) harness. Honestly would take a whole 15minutes worth of wiring.

they actually use to have some glass over conversion for the s13... it was "like" the 300zx lights. I think eastbear made them. not the same ones everyone knows of now, but actually had a glass layer over the opening. and i dont think they were the eb lights. i will look around.

but the best replacement that you can get now a days is the eastbear, and then get some custom glass put over it. i think it would look nice.

wow, those are really ugly. i think after you spent the money to do all the body mods you could have paid for the eastbear lights twice..

all i have seen in the way of the "glass- covered" s13 lights are the ab flug lights, but i have yet to find anywhere online that sells them stateside, let alone a price in USD.

They have the lights in the new veilside catalog for 180sx. Just across the page from the silvias. It looks a bit similar to that last pic without the eyelids or square reflectors.

-this is the pic from the veilside site, and it says that THEIR headlight conversion is discontinued, but as far as i can tell, it looks exactly the same as the ab-flugs that i still cannot find anything more than a pic & a price in japanese yen for.
