300ZX headlight washers on a 1990-1996 Q45

I see that many people are adding HID's to there Q45, Some the right way and others the wrong way. Well I read that over in Europe Headlight washers are installed on ALL cars as a requirement.

Well when the headlight is even a little bit dirty HID performance is affected greatly (some say 50% or more). With headlight washers HID's will always be at there best. I say HID a lot because standard halogen lights are not affected as much. The reason why I am not sure of at this time (not an engineer...).

So for those of you that have HID's and for those of you that are just lazy and don't wash you car till it rains this may be for you.

I myself may not attempt this because its too much work for little gain. And I also plan to keep standard halogen till some one comes along and install projectors in Q45 headlights that look great.

I am how ever will to help anyone that wants to undertake this project.

my 300zxturbo had headlamp washers with their own washer tank standard- while they were ok at getting heavy dirt off the headlamps, they did little to remove the normal film that coats both the headlamps and windshield from road spray kicked up from the car ahead of you.......did better at removing dried salt buildup in winter though- must include a wiper to really clean, just like the windshield.

I just put some xenon bulbs in and they look bad a$$, and were $60 for a set if 4 plus they are pretty close to hids in my opinion

And thats what I mean about installing HID's the wrong way. You must use projector when using HID's.
