300zx headlight on 89-94 240sx

the other day i was look to see what kind of headlight conversion i could do for my 93 240sx and i seen thous weird dual halo lights on ebay and thought to myself if it was possible to install 90-96 300zx headlights into an s13 240sx and so i tried to look online if any one has done this before but did not find any info or a single pic of this any where so if you have seen this let me know and about how much it will cost and how much labor involve if even possible thanks.

how bout stepping into fab land and do a fronend conversion of the fairlady z32. i dont think i know n e one that has done that, and it is easier than doin body work to fit the oe z32 headlight onto the oe s13 frontend.

for some reason i feel like i have seen a picture of the front end done before, but it looked really odd since the z32 is so much wider than an s13.

i think it might be easier to put the z32 lights in than the whole front end... i think for just the lights, they would possibly work with just cutting more of the hood out from around the lights maybe... then ofcourse mounting the lights somehow

I have never seen 300zx lights on a 240sx, and if you had one, it would defiantly stand out like crazy!! I would love to see someone do that!! GL with that...

Ive seen a better pic then that. I just looked and didnt find it but i have seen a better one then that. It still didnt look that good to me but it did look better then that.

i'm sorry but theres no way it woudl be easier to put a wider frontend on as opposed to fabbing headlights to fit

I think they just sort of mean putting glass or something over the shape of the pop ups (when they're closed) and having headlights behind that so it looks like the style of the 300zx... but I love my pop ups so I don't care! ha.

It's ugly. The front end of a Z32 is too wide compared to a S13. Waste of money.

the headlights into 240sx front end as already been done, someone on zilvia or something did it a long time ago. it looked kinda meh.

there's a guy russ who owns JNR in new hampshire that has put the headlights on the stock 240 front end. it wasn't done when i saw it, but the job looked pretty good and nothing like that saturn looking 240

If you're gonna mod the hood and stuff, just throw in the Mitsubishi GTO 3rd face lift lights.

Yea 240s are definatly not ment to be crossed with the 300zx AND have a wide body kit, looks hideous.

OP just get a Saturn and you'll be much happier with the look. If thats what you're aiming for because Z32 front end belongs with the Z32, everything else is too small compared to the Z32 body.

^ true but what everyone's forgetting is that the original question wasnt about putting the whole front end on, just the headlights
