300zx Fuel pump Problem

My fren have this 1990 300zx N/A, its fuel pump is making the buzzing sound when the car is started up.

The fuel pump should only make the sound for a while, when ignition is turn to on.

But in this car, when turning the ignition to on, the fuel pump makes the normal buzzing sound and stop. But after it start up, it keep buzzing non-stop.

What can it be? fuel pump?

what is the normal fuel pressure for this car? THanks

Approx 35 psi at idle about 43 with the regs vaccum cut. If the buzzing is excessivly loud then your pump bearings are the cause and will eventually fail. just replace the pump in this case. It is normal for the pump to run when the car is running though.
