my fuel injector for piston #1 turns off for a couple of days and then it turns back on by it self and i was wondering if its a relay?...Because this happen to me once before there was a miss fire on the same piston but the fuel injector just stayed off it never turned back on....so what could this problem be that the fuel injector turns of and i have a miss fire and another day it would be running smooth?

1) You posted this in the Altima forum. 2) How do you know the injector for cyl #1 is "turning off"? Did you put a node light on the ground wire or something?3) If it is turning off for a couple days, it is either plugged, the wiring is shorting out to that injector, or the injector itself is failing.

Either you have a bad injector or the connector terminals have corroded and is causing high resistance. Check for green corrosion on the injector connector pins.
