so after reading around all i see is that the front 240 uses the dual bolts, and the 300zx is a machpherson strut... well i have coilovers, couldnt i just unscrew the bottom off the coilover and put a macpherson coilover bottom and it would bolt up??

i know it might be a stretch, but i figured maybe SOMEONE would have an aswer as to why this WONT work?

By replacing the bottom mount of the coilover, you've effectively got a 240sx strut now. why not just get a 240sx strut?

The answer is stop being cheap.

?? i dont quite understand what you mean.. its not anything like having a 240sx strut.. i still have upper pillowball and camber plate, as well as my damper adjustment... and the aluminum uprights are lighter than the 240sx steel uprights, as well as giving a 5 lug hub...

maybe you could clarify on they first part of your post?

MY reason is i can get more camber tan 6* that i have now so i can run a lower offset wheel.

also, the Y33 offerings arent as stiff as id like
