First off, let me say welcome to NICO, Black_Panther!

Secondly, I just want to say that you have TONS of options when it comes to power upgrades in the 240sx. There is the venerable SR20DET swap, the RB20-, RB25- and RB26DET(T) (out of the Nissan Skyline), and the CA18DET (from the early JDM S13), all of which are actually pretty straight forward. You could also turbo the existing KA24(D)E, a route that is becoming very popular thanks to a rapidly growing aftermarket. These swaps/builds have been done numerous times, and we're lucky to have some pretty detailed threads on each floating through the NICO archives.

What you're discussing, tossing a VG30DET(T) into the S chassis, HAS been done. It's rare and much more difficult, given the shear size and weight of the VG engine. Again, it HAS been done, and discussed ad nauseum.

So, knowing that all this has been done or discussed, how do you access it? There's a blinking red button in the top right hand corner of every page on NICO called "Search." Click on that and type in your inquiry, such as "VG into S13 (or S14) swap" or "SR swap" or "KA turbo" or the like, and you'll see what I mean... LOTS of threads! You may need to check "Search Archived Content," as some useful threads, such as one I started over a year ago, haven't been accessed in such a long time that they are not part of the regular, current range of searchable material.

Good luck, and once again, welcome!
