Does anyone know how to install a consult cable into a 300Zx, I been having problem and I'm using z-talk but it keep saying the program is "confused".

Also the consult cable has 5 pins connecting to the car computer, that seemed a little high for me, so does anyone which and how many pins it should have, like its 4 in the right and 1 in the far left side.

Try using ECUTalk software. ECUTalk's cable and software work great for me!

get ECU pinout for your ECU. connect RX/TX/CLK, and then find 12v IGN switched power and a ground. can also hook up the CHK line but not critical.
