300zx code 51 at WOT?

Hey guys this is my first time posting to a forum. I have a 1990 300zx TT manuel trans. The problem i am having is when vehicle is at WOT the check engine light comes on for 3-4 seconds, hesitates for those few seconds, then the engine light goes off and its smooth again. Also it will do this at any RPM as long as at WOT. The code for those few seconds is code 51, it does not store in the ecu. i use a blazt consult program on my laptop, that is how i got the code. It builds boost perfect, there is no hesitation through the whole rpm band only when pedal to the floor (WOT). I have looked everywhere on the web and cannot find anyone with this same situation. Car idles perfect, no misses. It just started this after a drift event a week ago. I have no clue what would cause this. I need help

Test your PTU per the link at the top of the page, or it could also be your CAS. Also check the impedance on your injectors with a multimeter, Should be between 10-14 ohms, IIRC.

ok thanks alot i will do that in a few days. Yesterday my coolant line under the plenum popped so now im getting ready to do the delete. Ill let u know what the problem ends up being.

Sorry for the super late post, but I finally got around to fixing it. I pulled my ecu out and 1 of the 8 pins in the ribbon had what looked like to be a burn spot in it. So I waited to get an ecu really cheap and installed it today and my problem is fixed.
