Well i finally got my plenum back on after five months. I turned the car on an everything was great, stable idle, no hesitation whatsoever. Thank you to everyone for your help, it was my first plenum pull and i could of not done in without the help of the members here. But now that the car is running i am hearing a clicking/ticking sound coming from the engine. It has been a while since i heard my engine run so i do not know if i am being paranoid. Can it be a lifter tick, should i use the Xtreme Clean Engine flush that is on sale at z1 motorsports. I took a video and posted it on you tube. Thanks

Just sounds like a lifter to me. Everybody will have their own methods for fixing the problem. Lucas oil stabilizer in every oil change helped my lifter noise. Somebody posted a comment on your video; watch their video and perhaps their method will work for you.

Add 1 quart of ATF before your next oil change. Run it for 100 miles or so, then change oil and filter. You'll be tick free.

Yes. Just be sure not to overfill your oil level. It's the detergents in the ATF that make it effective at cleaning hydraulic lifters.

I've been thinking about doing the flush but i been reading up on some horror stories on how after the flush the engine is ruin, or a clogged oil filter. Any one else done an engine flush?

You need to change the oil filter when you do the oil change after the flush.

if your noise is indeed a lifter tick, cleaning them does no harm.

if your noise is a vacuum leak, flushing will make zero difference. Do a boost/vac leak check first.
