300zx chokes out after 20 min drive

Help. My 300ZX will start a fine and drive fine for about 20 minutes and then it suddenly chokes out and lose power and drops down to about 5 mph. Then accelerating it kind of just hops like it’s gasping for air. When stepping on peddle the car has no response other than sputtering. Then it every few seconds it revs up then back to Sputter throttle response . Any ideas??
