just like it says in the topic. having trouble putting the pads in the calipers.... how to keep the pins in and why do i have all the brake backing plates in my nissan 300zx hardware kit?

I have a related question, that i can't find the answer to. What wheels will both clear the 300zx calipers AND the 240sx suspension WITHOUT spacers? Is there some kind of sizing parameter/width that I can use as a guide for this?

there is a little bracket thing that goes through the hole at the end of each pin behind the caliper

those backing plates are called shims. there should be anti-squeal cream to put on them to assist with keeping brake noise down. worked on my z32 setup
