300zx Build Idea

Hey guys,

looking to buy a 300zx TT 2+2, since there is no decent 2+0 for graps in my area. I had a build thought that if you get a 2+2 model, and take the rear seats out and level it out and put in a '2nd boot'. as in cover the internal metal with wood panels that are carpeted..

I hope that makes sense.

Has anyone done a simular idea? or thought of such??

Also if you guys have any cosmetic build ideas on the 2+2 90's models let me know! im keen to get my project car going

you could do that, ot like many have done, replace your rear seats with a speaker box.

You do know that they only made the TT in the 2+0 models (2 seater). If you find a 2+2 model with the TT motor, it is a swap and I have had a bad experience of buy my first z that was a swap. Many "shops" will do shady stuff, even as far as just adding turbos to a N/A motor. Be very careful and if you do find a 2+2 model with TT, get a mechanic to check it out and have the buyer smog the car before you exchange cash.
