300zx brakes for 240

i wanted to know. alot of people put the 300zx brakes on there 240s. now do they fit right on or what do i have to do. another thing is where would i be able to get some.

make sure your wheel will clearn the brakes...

the only modification is cutting the dust shield. Other than that its a complete bolt on oh and new SS lines made for the conversion

yes but i have the 90 240 and it is a 4 lug. so i searched and i read something about having to drill new slots. if thats true, would it be worth all the work or just getting good brake upgrade

since you have 4-lug hubs, and the 300zx brake rotors are for 5-lug cars you can either do one of two things. 1) get the 300zx rotors redrilled for your 4-lug setup, or 2) you could do a 5-lug swap. The cheapest being the re-drilled rotors, its simple and any good machine shop can do it easily.

or 3) buy predrilled 4 lug z rotors...from heavy throttle etc...

Point of Information:

Don't make the mistake I made when I installed my z calipers; make sure the bleader valves are on top and not pointing down towards the ground. You probably already knew this. If that's the case, it's just a reminder

thanxs for all the replys im still debating if new rotors drilled and slotted with racing brake pads would be better per dollar or is the 300zx better for the dollar

Ive heard pads, rotors, and fluid is hard to beat for the money...
