300zx brake swap

I have a stock s13 coupe with basic bolt ons. I'm in the middle of a 300zx brake swap. I want to do the swap regardless, but im wondering if it is unnecessary? I do take my car to the track and i do drift it. But still is it overkill?

Nothing overkill when it's your car if you want Z32 brakes. Put on Z32 brakes and besides even if you think that it's not needed at this moment time; they will look sweet on any 240

I was mostly worried about burnouts. Im hoping the rear will be able to spin with the amount of braking power compared to horsepower i have. Thanks for the response

now i think line locks are overkill your not trying to drag race your stock car... lol i hope..... its just bigger brakes which means less foot pressure to equal stock force. dont push down hard and youll be able to hold it to 3rd gear for your buddies. and slowing down faster is never overkill. just get used to them before you really need them so you dont lock them up
