I searched for the answer and read the swap tutorial on 240sx also, but still didn't find what I want to know. I have tried twice to swap 300zx calipers and rotors onto my S14. I have now cut the edge of the dust shield as shown on the 240sxtech site (J30 swap) but the rotors still touch the dust shield. Now it contacts it toward the center of the rotor versus the edge. What have others done to prevent the contact? I don't want to cut the dust shield off completely since it will still protect the rotor and pads from getting mud / debris in them. Is there an aftermarket dust shield to replace the 240sx one?

Your options are cut, grind, bend, stock shields or use 300zx,j30,q45 shields.

I came up with a solution...

How they started...
Image

I found a set of Altima front dust shields that are about the size of the 300zx rotors. I cut them to a "C" shape to fit behind the 240 shields after I trimmed them down to just a small flange.
Image

After that I used 1/8" metal rivets to attach the Altima shields to the 240sx.

Completed set-up. 100% functional and OEM look.
