I jsut installed Z32 rotors, calipers, and pads and everything seems fine. All parts fit nicely, bled the brakes, pedal is nice and firm and the brakes stop extremely well, but there is a loud scraping like pad on rotor when I drive it. I have only driven it about 5 miles since installing, so my question is, is this normal for the pads to scrape against whatever shiny finish is on the rotors until they wear down? Or should this not happen at all?

it shouldnt be "scraping" check for clearances...you may have something rubbing(wheel weights, etc) on brake items..

did you install shims? its naural for a pad to 'drag' a bit on the rotor, but you'll hardly ever hear it, since it doesnt drag much at all...
