Ok, i'm gonna do my best to be nice here. First off, did you see the huge thread at the top of this forum about the 240sx to 300 zx brake upgrade?!

Maybe not, there are about 50 billion other threads on it too by the way.

Really need A LOT more info for anyone to help you. When you say "my BIG 16 inch rim" what exactly do you mean? Are you doing front and rear or just front? Do you have 4 lug or 5 lug? Are you doing it for looks or out of necessity due to alot of power? It all matters.

BTW, you'll need new brake lines. I got mine at Project Silvia.

This site rock...excellent pictures and clearly worded text.

You can get brake lines that work with the 300ZX conversion at PDM-Racing too. Please don't cut any corners while doing this. Brakes are important.

As for the 30mm calipers fitting your wheels...

From what I've read, the bottom line is that its going to be tough to tell if the brakes will fit until you try it. It seems to have less to do with offset and more to do with spoke design. It would be nice to have a database if which wheels worked and which didn't. The only ones I know of for sure are some Kosei K1 wheels...they fit.

It wasn't dumb. Think of it this way...if you post on a topic before searching, you have to wait for someone to answer your question. Sometimes that takes 5 minutes, sometimes it takes an hour. If you search on your own, you can find your answers with seconds. They often aren't simple one sentence answers, but in-depth discussions, so you can get all the info you need.

I'm sorry if I sounded like a total ***** but BadMojo is right. A lot of the time searching is much quicker and you'll get a lot more info. I just know from experience if you ask a question to be VERY specific so you'll get all the answers you need. By the way, me and a friend are doing the brake upgrade right now so if you need to know anymore places to get parts i have a nice list of all the cheapest places etc... Just need to know specifically what you're doing. Otherwise, hope you found all the answers you needed. :)
