I am currently in the process of putting Z32 brakes on my S14 but I have run into a pretty big problem. I installed the new rotors and calipers but now I cant get the rotor to rotate at all. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Any help is greatly appreciated.

screw some lug nuts onto the studs so the rotor is on straight. did the caliper slide onto the rotor easily or did you have to force it?

Take out your pads and try rotating the wheel. If it rotates freely, you need to compress your pistons more on both sides. It is possible that they are extended by unequal amounts on each side.

is your e-brake engauged?

did you connect your e-brake properly?

(for fronts)

did you space the pistons before installing

did you bleed them properly?

Did you check which version of the calipers you have??

The 300Z had 2 versions - one takes a 30mm rotor, and one takes a 26mm rotor. With the 30mm rotor in a 26mm caliper, the pads may not be able to push back far enough to clear.
