I saw some 300zx brakes at my uncles nissan yard and i was wondering what i would have to do to put them on my 240, has anyone done this, ive heard its getting popular, my old brakes are like shot, if i get the 300zx brakes should i also pull the master cylinder?

Please use the search button to find the answers to your questions. The short answer is "yes" they can be fitted onto your car though performing the conversion will likely be the beginning of a spiral that will necessitate buying more and more parts. For example, if you just want to upgrade the front brakes, you will likely have to buy new wheels in order to clear the large 300zx calipers. New 16"+ wheels probably means that you will need new tires. Well, you can't just have 16" tires on the front so you'll have to get a full set for all 4 corners. Do you see the pattern here?

Hate to be a pessimist but you should be aware of the issues surrounding the swap.
