300ZX Brake Conversion Problem

I have a '91 Nissan 240sx, which I have recently installed 4-piston 91-93 NA 300zx brakes on.

The front brakes don't work until I've pumped them about five times. The rear brakes work after one or two pumps. The brake pedal feels like a clutch.

I know that someone posted a thread with the same exact problem a few months ago. I've tried all the ideas that were given to him. I've installed a rebuilt master cylinder and bench bled it before I installed it. I've bled the brakes for hours in the correct pattern staring in the rear, with the car on and off.

The only conclusion that I can come to is that the master cylinder does not push enough fluid to allow the 300zx brakes to work, but why does no one else have this problem? If anyone can give me any suggestions on how I may be able to get the brakes to work, please reply.Thanks.

Umm....Dude....you may want to make sure you have the calipers on the correct side of the vehicle. Make sure the bleeder screw is at the top and not the bottom.

also...did you bleed your brakes after you installed the calipers? If not then you will have air bubbles in your lines which is oh so not good.
