Its a simple question but im stuck. Ive been here before but my since its been a while my login was erased. anyhow, Im in the middle of doing a 300zx brake swap onto my s14. issue is in the rear steal braided line. the line has a male and a female end. i removed the 300zx rubber line and attached the male end onto the metal line closest to the caliper. and the other end being the female cannot go into the stock s14 breakline. has anyone done this swap before that can point out wheather if i should have or i should not have removed the 300zx rubber breakline and can you walk me through the procedure. thx. :ohno:

isnt the steal braided brake lines the conversion lines? i thought thats was all i needed. can you explain the differences if any? and does that mean that i bought the steal braided lines for nothing? (this is all in terms of the rear) the front seemed much easier to me.

They make steel braided conversion lines for standard S chassis, and S chassis > Z32 conversion, you have to get the right ones. So yes, you bought the lines for nothing, so to speak.
