300zx brake adapter

ive been reading the 300zx brake swap and had a question. when it says you have to use a fitting that mates the 240 brake line to the 300zx caliper do u have to use that one. they are like 80 bucks for two. can you get them from summit for a lot cheaper or do you have to use those? anyone know the thread? id like to do this swap as cheap as possible.

Something about the banjo fitting not working well with the Z32's flanged fitting.

You can mickey mouse the job and try to go cheap, but you might end up making it worse.
