300ZX better or worse?

From what I understand the 300ZX LSD will work in my dif, but what are the gear ratios? Are they the same?

If diffrent does anyone have examples a MPH at what RPM?

depends on if it is an NA or a TT...NA will be the same as the one you currently run (ratio wise) but the TT will be a taller gear (IE will run a lower RPM at any given speed compared to what you are at now, also meaning a cut in acleration, but a higher theoretical top speed)

Don't forget the turbo diff is not a r200 and will not fit in our case.

What about the J30 LSD does that have taller gears?

See my KA is making about 212rwhp and about 219lbs of t. I shift at about 5500 because that is when the power band starts to roll off. The problem is that I am only at about 25mph when I shift.

Not a huge deal but will be running 12-14 PSI soon and I know I will barely be able to keep it on the road in 1st gear. If I had taller gears I think I will be able to make use of that 350lbs of torque I will be making. Rather than roasting the tires,..... I will rocket to 40mph.

the j30 have slightly taller gears at 3.91, and just in case you dont know they have VLSD this would probly be a great option for you.

What is the stock gear size? Is it that much diffrent?

And the 300zx tt is 3.6's around there?

Havn't taken it yet. Feels like 13's,.... not sure though. Blasted a friend with 98 Civic hatchback with JDM GSR motor with B16 transmission and CTR cams.
