300zx auto transmission went out

i have a 1991 300 zx na and i was wondering if i get a j30 transmission if it will be a direct bolt up and not have to change anything

same transmission and same engine. it will fit and bolt up to the motor. you may have to fool around with the trans mount to make it work but that should be easy. the cooler lines may have to be bent to fit but that also is easy(i have seen that done by transmission shops just to speed up the r/r). i hope that the starter is on the same side. do a search on converting j30 to a TT and see what those guys have to say about the trans. there are some very smart people looking to TT their j30s. i know i saw them discussing trans issues.
