was wondering how much boost i can run on the auto trans, and would this be safe with out any kind of aftermarket fuel man. iv herd 9psi. iv herd 12-14, i just dont know,

a little off topic, but im haveing a transmission problem as well. seems to shift late. 4k rpms. normal driving gets kind of anoying when ur head hits the headrest during shifts, i have put alot of miles on it this way. other then pulling out my auto trans and swapping in a manual. im at a road block with a tight budget,

I don't know about how much boost the auto can hold, but I would look into changing your transmission fluid for the hard shifts. That would be the cheapest thing to do at first. If that doesn't help any, it would probably be in your best interest to take it somewhere and see what exactly is wrong with it. Things like that can escalate very quickly, even if it has been happening for a while.
