Hey i got a 1993 300zx, i put my own relay in the car to unlock the doors because both key locks are broken. My problem is that if the car is locked for a certain amount of time the Alarm sets off any my only way to shut it off is to manually open the trunk because both door locks are broke.

My First question is does anyone know this set amount of time, because it doesn't happen if i run in and out of a store real fast but it does happen when i go to work and leave.

My Second question does anyone have a solution to this problem? anyway to disable the alarm system.

are you talking about the factory alarm system is going off? or some aftermarket system is activating? if you wanna disable the factory alarm just unplug the box located high up on the passenger floorboards, near the ecu. we need more info to help you out, ie. what alarm is going off, what is installed

You could also but an actuator in the driver door with keyless entry that would be the best thing I did it and I love it cost me like $50 to do everything.

This post is helping me out also. Its pretty bad when you call up the local Nissan dealership and ask them about how to disable the factory alarm and they tell you that it doesn't come with one. You would think that they would have a database with all the info on the cars nissan has ever made. Apparently these cars are even a mystery to NISSAN. This was the last time I ever called a dealership for info on these cars.
