I was just wondering if anyone has bought this brake kit from silverminemotors. It looks like a pretty good deal and if you are a user on 240sxforums.com then you can get the kit for $445.

http://silverminemotors.com/pr...Id=46

The reason i ask is because while looking on 240sxforums i noticed the user that posted the info on buying this kit is now banned by moderator. So i was just wondering if this place was legit and their product are what they say they are.

thanks

I would just go to Autozone and get the rebuilt calipers. Cheap and already put together. then just add any pads and lines you want

Also i didnt know if these from Autozone would still have the Nissan on the front of the caliper.

From what I've seen, they won't. Sounds kind of stupid but I want calipers that say Nissan if that's what I'm buying.

Currently looking for rear Z32 calipers if anyone can give me a lead.

Dude I got mine from Murrays wen I used to work there for 30 each. They are currently $45.00 plus $40 core. Since I idn't have 300zx calipers for a core, I just took in my oem 240 calipers nd nobody said anything about them not being the right calipers. And yes mine do have the NISSAN on them.

reman calipers, get the rotors redrilled or predrilled for the 4x114.3 4 lug pattern and then a set of front ss lines, homemade 300zx kits allot cheaper

Today i checked with Autozone. They said they could get them for $50 a piece, plus cores. I am just planning on buying them and returning my 240 calipers as the core. This is for 30mm aluminum calipers, o and they are reman. so they still have the Nissan on the front.

Thats exactly what I did as I mentioned before. Just keep in mind that they will check the calipers you are briging in. The good thing about it is that most likely they dont have them in the store so they will have to order them.

I say this because if you take the stock 240 calipers the same day you order them they wont find out they are completely different from the 300zx ones, plus you wont have to pay the core. Now if you take the stock 240 calipers the day you receive the 300zx ones, they will find out and give you problems. Just trying to help.
