Please answer the poll with any comments below. I REALLY want to get a Z32, preferrably TT, but Allstate (on my parents policy even, with no accidents or tickets) quoted me $385/month for the TT or $355/month for the N/A, both with full coverage. I will be investing another $6-$8000 into the Z if I get it, so I'm wondering if I should get collision, or just liability. Liability is the only way I could afford it.Who has liability, collision, etc. on their Z32?(90-96 300z)

Don't get it if you can't afford good insurance coverage. You would be sick if something were to happen and you couldn't afford to repair the car. You might be able to get a lower rate if you have another vehicle as your primary car (i.e., a DD or beater), and list the Z as a secondary pleasure vehicle. Also, you might try rate-shopping other companies.

Another option if you dont want to get full coverage is carry liability insurance with an additional rider that covers the car if a uninsured or underinsured motorist hits you. That's what I have on my Z and Q 45. It saves me a ton of money.

$300 bucks a year full coveraga stated policy with no milage limitations for my Z. I've got another car (beater) that's my DD with liability only.

i carry liability on both but i added a bunch of custom extra like uninsured/underinsured and the biggies. look into making you own coverage plan if they will let you it can save a ton of $$

and id say depending on what you buy the car for and what not get teh cheapest you can get like just liability with uninsured driver coverage (what bought my current Z) then after you've started putting money into it to make it worth more bump up your coverage accordingly

mine is my 240sx i drive both mostly the Z now but it costs me $280 extra every 6 months to cover it so like a total of $1250 odd a year. It's cheaper to have the 240 and the Z then just the Z. Plus my head gaskety went on it so its nice to have the 240 too lol. well back to pulling parts off her in prep for parts that get here wends or thurs. it happened friday night and it's already been to long, but goal is by next sat. have her back to new... gotta love working in our cramped *** engine bays sooo much fun.
