Ok i posted this on Freshalloy, and i was wondering what you all thought about it! I recently went to a junkyard and acquired 2 remanufactured 26mm calipers. The only drawback is they are 2 right calipers, from further inspection my only problem will be that the bleeder will be on the bottom of the left caliper when installed. However when i put them on i will be putting on full stainless steel lines and i would just bleed the left side off of the bracket so that the bleeder will in effect be on top for the bleeding process! What will the negative effects be to having the bleeder on the bottom when it is installed after bleeding? Will there be any? I dont understand how if i bleed them properly there will be any negative effects of the bleeder on the bottom after bleeding has been done correctly. thank you for all advice and help. please help me understand how this all works. You will have numerous bleeding problems. you could bleed off the car, right side up, but you'd have to wedge something in it to keep the pistons stationary. Then, anytime you changed pads, re-bled them, or had an issue with the brakes, you'd have the same problem. This is only part of it, i'm pretty sure fluid pressure is effected also when installed wrong. Try another search for a leftside.
