do you really think having the rear calipers and rotors too would make much of a difference? If just getting the front kit with rear sslines, do you recommend getting rear pads too? what about rear rotors?

also, will the kit fit with s14 16" SE wheels?

btw, If i click on your signature or on the link you posted it says website not found, but if i open up a new window and type it in it works.

Lead time is 2-3 weeks to assemble the kits per spec since people want different things and have various applications.

I need at least 5 kits total in order to move on this, kits include just the front setup and the full kit.

I will send you another email so you know. Austin Candela1995 240sx SE' NO abs (obviously I already have 5 lug:cool:)

-Full kit you listed including the rear rotors and MU pads for the rear. I would like the front TT Z32 rotors drilled and slotted as well as the rear replacements.

- How much would shipping be to Austin? It is about 300 miles round trip for me to come pick them up which is a full tank of gas. So if the shipping to me is not going to be to much I assume to not make the drive. What kind of wait time am I looking at?THanks...

118 miles from my house in Austin to the shop.

The drive would be worth it IMO. Plus you get to see the shop :ylsuper

Im very interested, but i just had some unexpected expenses pop up (ie getting a speeding ticket), so i wont know if i'll have the money or not, it might be after the end of the month before i find out, not sure. How much will the kit be sold for afterward, like after the group buy is over? Do you think you'll have another group buy relatively soon after this one?i hope i can get in on this, but i'll have to wait and see, hopefully i can find out soonthanks

I might be interested in moving on the brake kit. HOWEVER, I also need to get a few things straightened out on my suspension. I wasn't planning on doing brakes til next month or so and have only begun researching the subject. The price sounds good as the nissan Q45 2piston upgrade is $800 with 1 piece rotors. I know Stillen sells a 4 pot setup for $1600 or so and a full brembo kit in the box is near $3k. So I have some questions to clear up (please answer all, here or email).

1)What size are the rotors? (diameter, width) I know the 320mm brembo rotors and 4 pot will not fit a 16" wheel (correct?)2) Where are you getting the brake lines? From what I have seen I was planning Goodrich (sp?). 3)with the full kit, are those rear rotors and pads set for the 1piston stock caliper and how would that affect brake balance.4) For rear kit, what size are calipers.5)are the Calipers rebuilt Brembo pieces and if so, where did you source them?6)I'm in the Houston area and would need to see the shop and what you guys have going on before I could dump some money on the spur of the moment.

Thanks for the info since a price break from 3 large to bills is pretty significant and you know what they say...

1. Rotors are OEM sized Z32 rotors... which is 280mm x 30mm, and I have seen them on a 15" oem S13 SE wheel w/ a 10mm spacer.

2. Brake lines are being made by a local company, I can source you goodrich lines but the cost will increase on the kits.

3. Yes, they are for the stock rear brakes, as initially requested. To do the rear Z conversion you need the entire rear brake assembly, I can't supply that for a good cost.

4. You use the OEM caliper

5. No, they are rebuilt OEM calipers (non-Brembo), and even if they were Brembo I would not give out such info as to where I found them.

6. We are in Katy, feel free to drop by.

Ok, more questions, nissan motorsports offers the q45 brake upgrade for $796 with 2 new 2 piston calipers that supposedly offer better modulation when threshold breaking (or somesuch) and 280 mm rotors. I've never driven a z32 upgrade, so I don't know. However, I have a problem with putting used parts on my car especially when I don't know wehre they came from to save the diff between 800 and 600 bucks. Of course you do throw in stainless lines and slotted rotors. For about a grand, you can get new skyline calipers and skyline 295 mm rotors. I don't know if I'll be able to jump in on this. What would the reg price be? Like I said earlier, my current plan is to take care of a couple suspension pieces and then wheels/tires and then bigger brakes (which would need larger clearance wheels if I go bigger than stock or z32). Hmmm, maybe I'll have to stop by tomarrow..I was down in that area today, wish I knew you were out there. I live south of league city.

They are rebuilt calipers, apart from the metal the calipers are made of they are totally new, new seals, pistons, pins, etc. Not to mention a 4 piston caliper will provide good modulation as well as more even brake force distribution than a 2 piston caliper.

The Brembo Skyline calipers are about $700 new for the pair from Nissan. Then add rotors, new lines (fittings are different), and brake pads and you end up with more than a grand spent.

Might be a minor point, but I thought Brembo only either slotted OR drilled their rotors. So, who did the work on those rotors? i'm not going to be able to get in on this offer, but thought that might be a valid question for people looking to get in on the buy. (BTW I saw a similar setup on a web page for about $1k, but there's another group buy in this forum on apparently genuine Brembo rotors).
