Regarding the higher HP KA-Ts only. Post your engine oil's brand, weight and why you use it in comparison to the others. Also add what conditions the car is use in (such as track or street use).

I don't know if I make 300whp or not. But I run 18psi daily, and 28psi on race fuel at the track.

I use Mobil 1 Synthetic, Lucas Racing Synthetic, Lucas CJ4 Synthetic 15w40, or Royal Purple. All except the CJ4 is 10w30.

For a filter, I use either a Mobil 1, Purolator Pure1, or WIX if I'm poor at that particular time.

Everyone has their preferences. I just keep to the Group 5 oils, without spending a bunch of money.

Also, I do a mix of driving. Right now, the car is a daily driver. But I do some drag here and there with some auto cross once in a while. I always change my oil right after a day of harsh driving, like any sort of track abuse.

I'm probably a little shy of 300whp, but I run Pennzoil Platinum 10w30, i've done some reading on bobistheoilguy.com and PP is pretty much the best in "full synthetic" oils. I've been running WIX filters too.

AMSOIL, Redline, ENEOS all still reign supreme as 100% Synthetic oils

416 whp at 28psi Drag, Street, and daily abuse Royal Purple Racing 51 XPR 20W50OEM Filter

I used it because it was a special order at Napa that someone never picked up, but paid for, so I got the whole case for $42 dollars. OEM filters because I work for Nissan and get them for free. I intend on using the RP XPR in my new VQ35DET when I get it in and running.

Wal-Mart brand synthetic, 5w-30 for weight. I used to run 5w-50 because it was supposed to assist with the anti-coking on the bushings. But I've taken apart turbo's and seen coking no matter what oil was used.

5w-30 is thin enough to flow real well out of the gravity drain. I use Wally brand because it's cheap and I change it after a track day or real hard driving. I use regular old Fram Sure Grip filters, but I change the filter out in between oil changes.

I used to use Castrol Syntec only...but I think it's all a waste of money. Synthetics are very close, with the exceptions being RP and Amsoil having the highest tested quality compared to all of the most popular brands.

Super-Tech 5-30W here as well. I change my oil after every track event, or after about 1500 miles, whichever comes first. I just use the cheapest non-fram oil filter.

293 whp/310 torque.

Haha I'm really excited to see what "the pain" can do. I'll try to get to Omaha, It's 21 hours away so it'd be an epic road trip.

If I am there you better make that a Coca Cola, I'm only 19

I use Walmart's Super Tech as well. I now use Walmart filters, but I used Pure One when I had my KA.

I have no where near 300whp...
