JWT has a wiring write-up on their site, but Ive heard is incorrect. Search on NICO for the proper wiring. Its pretty simple (4 wires I tihnk). You need a device to tell your ECU youre running a different MAF. An SAFC can do this.

How would my car run without this device?

It would probably think that the mafs was malfunctioning or broken and may through the cel,And or make your revs weird.

why cheap out on something essential when you already have (supposedly) a turbo setup?

I dont want to cheap something out. My car is a daily driver i need it bad, but the only air flow sensor i have is a z32 cause my stock one went out and i dont have the cash to buy a safc now.

i would look to trade the z32 for a stock sensor and some cash or else pick up another ka or sr MAFS as a stopgap to get running again. any way you cut it, you will have to spend money.

i thought by definition the daily driver should be the reliable car that you dont fix unless its broken. i learned that the hard way so now i have 2 cars. maybe you should pick up a dedicated a-to-b car when you can so you arent faced with this kind of problem in the future.

the z32 wire harness has a orange wire on the far left end i know that goes to the ecu. It also has a big white wire on the other end and it is the power wire, the i have two black wires that r grounds. I have one more wire its white. On the wire diagram on http://www.ka-t.org/forums/vie...iring it doesnt have a wire like this one i have no idea what to do.

Link doesn't work but like it was said earlier you will need a SAFC to change the in and outputs of the hotwires to make your car run after you get it wired up. Easy way would be going to the junkyard and getting a n60(89-94) maxima maf because it uses the same n62 plug.

I have an S13 and S14 KA24DE MAF I could sell. I have them laying around somewhere. I don't know what a good price is, but name a fair one and I might could part with one of them.

SAFC = Awesomeness with a Z32 MAF and a small turbo setup.

I've been searching on all the sites (Z32 Maf Install), here, KA-T.org, Z ilvia, and FA but I can't find anything about install.

I bought a MAF, and it only has 3 wires on it, is it all I need?

First off, you CAN NOT run a N62 MAF without a SAFC or other ecu upgrade...period, not going to work. Second, if you do get a SAFC or ecu upgrade, you can find a wiring diagram right in the FAQ at the top of the friggin page. I wish you guys would simply look through there. I busted my *** making it and putting in a ton of info.

I'm sorry WD, for some odd reason I can't open that file. And everytime I try to open it, my I.E. closes on me, that is the reason I posted here.

One thing to keep in mind. That diagram is viewed from the HARNESS SIDE of the plug....Not looking directly AT the plug. I bitched out the guy who sold me my Z32 MAF for that reason. I had hooked it up backwards, thus didn't work. Doesn't harm anything, but I wanted to let you know that. Don't make an *** out of yourself like I did...

Its easy to tell what wire is where in relation to the alignment keys on the plug itself.

Is one ground OK? Like I said, I only have three wires. (B, D, E) And it looks like E is my ground wire because it's black, I need to confirm this with the seller. =\

I'm making sure I do it right.

i actually wired my N60 up just based off of color code, kinda guessed and got it right.... later i found this.

little more easy to read

Note: its been confirmed that you can run that second ground to the chassis or double it up with the KA's stock ground wire. for some one way worked better then others.
