300 zx ecu?

I know that the the n/a 300 zx runs the same VQ30DE, but gets more horsepower because of the tuning. Anyone know where I can get the 300 x ecu, and also is it a neasy switch? I would think so because of the whole same engine thing but I'm not sure.

hey man i thought ur putting a TT in there?? anyway the 300z uses a vg30de and not the VQ like ur saying if you do have a vg then the swap will be as easy as unclip old ecu... plug in new ecu... but that is of course that you make sure to match the ecu to vin options.. if you have a vq then you got a whole nother list of concerns. as far as getting one Ebay.... they take care of you search for some of the companies that sell the engine and send them an email that you only want an ecu they'll be able to hook you up

yea im weighin my options, i think i do have the vg, i get them mixed up sometimes. As aweseome as the tt is im a high school kid with a budget... we'll see
