Hey whats up guys. I just crossed over 30k and according to the owners manual, a pretty extensive service is due. I was just wondering how many of you guys did this yourself or took it to the dealer. Is this something that is pretty easily done in the garage? Also, what kind of bill would I be looking at to have the dealer do it.. Preciate any feedback!

In cabin filter, rotation/balance, alignment, **transmission fluid**, air filter, oil change, inspection of all wear and tear. I think that about sums it up.

I have lifetime alignment and roation/balance at Ramona tire so that covers that. Oil change and in cabin filter can be done at home. I have K&N intake that I clean myself. I know when brakes need to be changed and where my fluids are so that only leaves transmission service which is the big one. Also being a CVT probably best to get it done at the dealer but I think other places can do it now as well.

That just what I did.

If you have a CVT, don't be surprised if your transmission fluid doesn't get changed. I'm going to hit 100,000 this week or the next, and no dealer has wanted to change it yet.

Ask the dealer, if you trust them.

I just hit 93k/km and Nissan doesn't want me to change.

Warranty has been extended to 200k/km so if they don't want me to I won't. Saves me $300-$500.

As far as I understand CVT fluid is not even supposed to be considered for a change until 60K miles, and even then just as IB said the dealer will inspect it and determine if it even needs it. Also as mentioned, you can do most of the procedures in the documented 30K service yourself. Do what you can/feel comfortable with yourself, then bring it to the dealer for the rest.

93000 km? What's that in real distance?

i just changed mine at 65K... feels smooth like butter. well, not like it didn't before. the dealer actually said i didn't really need to do it at 30k when i asked them back then... so i did it now. total= $152.xx surprisingly... after he initially quoted $179.99 :bigthumb:

That sounds legit. I'm gonna make it back up there sometime in July. Know of anything going on then?
