Hopefully some one can help me out here or point me in the right direction.I just purchased a 2006 touring 350z and now it will not start. It sounds like its trying to but it just won’t turn over at all. I have tried all 3 keys on it. I have tried turning the key back and forth in the driver side door to bypass that alarm. I have tried reprogramming the key like it say in the manual. I have disconnected the battery for about 30 mins. I have also checked about every fuse in the car. Still no luck at all.

What I was doing before it happened-For the last week I have been working on changing out the Bose system. The Bose head unit has been out of the car for a week now with no problems. Two days ago I put new speakers in the rear and ran wires to the front dash with no problems. Last night we removed the passenger side door panel, and installed one of the door speakers. And now the car won’t start after that little part. All we did to the door was take the panel off unplug the wire harness running to it and put a speaker in it. None of the speaker wire is even hooked up so I’m sure we didn’t short anything out. It’s really pissing me off right now. Anyone know what to do? The dealers are saying I screwed it up and it will not be cover under warranty, even though they haven’t even looked at it yet.

if you havent talked to all the dealers in your area yet i would put the car back to stock as best as possible and just call them and tell them that the car wont start and let them figure it out. before you do that though i would check the cars actual battery volatge you may be a lil low.

This is not a problem. All you got to do is this. When you start your car, you will feel the car is kind of wanting to startup, but it won't. Rigth when this is happening step on the gas pedal and your car will start up. Keep stepping on the gas to keep the RPM running. Go for a spin. While your car is running, the computer will recalibrate itself, which will take between 15 - 20 minutes...sometimes less.

This is very common to lots of cars when you unplug something, specially the battery or something from the dashboard. The computer inside will sense something different in your car and will recalibrate itself. While this process is happening just keep your feet on the gas pedal to keep up the RPM running. If you don't the car will stall. If it does just start it up again and keep stepping on the gas and it will startup. The computer can only recalibrate itself if the car's engine is running. Hope this helped solve your problem.

When you did this last thing with the door speaker, did you disconnect the battery??

Hopefully you didnt short circuit the whole system, Like someone else said put it back to stock as much as possible, and contact the dealer
