My 2008 M35 occasionally emits 3 soft beeps which seem to emminate from the center console. Nothing in the owner's manual addresses this. Any ideas?

mine does it, when i leave the key insede or i close the car and the engine is on,

its def. not the tire pressure unless they changed that sound from the 06-07 sounds. It is a long loud beep for a low tire. Im assuming you are not talking about when you have your car running and then you get out with your key in your pocket and it beeps at you right? You might want to do that just so see if it is the same 3 beeps you are refering too. I think ive had that sounds happen before but my car wasnt running and it confused me too.

You might be referring to the lane departure warning. It makes 3 very soft beeps when you cross the lanes without signaling. This would be a great safety feature if the beeps were audible. You can permanently turn if off by holding down the LDW button for a few seconds.

I'd say yodeling called it. Drive up really close (or even onto) to the white line while going over 45 mph on a clear road and see if it starts doing it repetitively. Also, look in the lower left section of the speedometer and you should see the LDW light flashing.

i think you're right FNAWSM. i have a feeling it came out the key hahahaha. it happened after i rummaged my center console and came back to my room. thing is i've got a JDM fuga and its rhd and everything in Jap.

That is my bet.

It would be a noise around the center console randomly.

The TPMS alarm is one long beep, and that is only if one of the tires is below a certain percentage.

The key system can make four from the interior buzzer and two from the external buzzer (I think) separate noises depending on whatever it does not like.
The most annoying would happen if you turn the car off in gear and get out of the car. Most Infinitis beep continuously but the M has this single loud alarm from the external beeper until you fix it.

my LDW makes 4 quick beeps and my low tire pressure is one very long and loud BBBEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPP! It would be nice if the OP actually returned and updated us
