You could probably save $1200
Sorry, that was my wallet typeing...Also Rucus Racing makes a good and much cheaper alternative...
Flicktitty wrote:Well here is my Question. The Tech2 kit comes with a Driveshaft for the 5spd transmission, but i plan on running the Stock 2J Auto for a year or 2 then going TH400. So am i going to need a differant driveshaft or is the 5spd and Auto DS the same size? either way it's not a huge deal there is a DS shop about 5 min from my house.
I am a member of Tech2's swap forums (
www.2jzswap.com) and I have read first hand people's requests for auto swap kits. Tech2 always responded: "Yes, we also make Auto kits."They use a different drive shaft, wiring, and transmission crossmember.IDK about the shifter location though

If you use an unaltered S13 radiator then the upper inlet will have clearance issues with the FMIC piping and throttle body(or thats what they say)If you can pull off the "clearance issue" then you can use what ever combination of radiator piping. I would suggest buying the longest set of piping you can find at your local parts store. Also a set that looks similar to what you need. This way you can butcher it and cut it up to make it work
