Sorry, I don't know much about fuel. I think ethanol is corrosive though. I know when people run straight alcohol they have to modify the fuel system components to run it.

I have always been inherently distrustful of knock meters. I find it very hard to beleive they could discern knock at high rpms from valvetrain noise. I would say check your plugs to back up a knocking indication. Always assume the knock meter is right and back off just to be safe but don't make changes until you verify it actually is though a plug check.

(i know title says only two) under boost i hear intense whooshing, and i have a DSM BOV, but i still read 5 lbs at full boost all the way to redline, is my BOV just lettin stuff by or did i kill sumptin? ive no IC just straight pipe from turbo to Trottle, (in the works............ )thats all, and if i didnt search good then feel free to flame
Intense whoosing is likely the roar of air being sucked into the turbo, you have an aftermarket free-flow filter don't you? You can hear the turbo easily with those. You could block off the BOV and see if the sound goes away to check if it is failing.
No intercooler? bad juju, it makes me think #2 might be true. My L20ET came with no intercooler but it was running like 7.8: compression; the CA18 is 8.5. You need an intercooler. Granted, the stock one is a joke but no intercooler isn't funny.
