3 puck came with my swap? lol

i bought a swap for $650 in canada, it came with an S14 turbo on it and now i realize it looks like a stock pressure plate and a 3 puck sprung clutch. and it has stamped kayaba. anyone know what it is? it looks gold/copper im trying to load pics but photobucket is being garbage!

I have that clutch!!! Its the heat McNastypants!! Mine came with a badass pressure plate too. It looked stock, but was stamped "550" instead of the "220" or so on my stock pressure plate. You will never need another clutch. Itll take a little getting used to, but its totally streetable and just generally the bomb diggity.

Yeah this pressure plate looks like a stock one, it has nissan stamped in it and also has an RS550 on it as well.

what brand clutch is this and is it the same as the one you have? iv already driven the car with this clutch and i was able to brake loose in 3rd with a stock motor on 5-7psi and it wasnt running right with tons of blow by. lol.

yea i bought the clutch soley because tim siad it was and i quote "the bees knees"

havnt driven on it yet, but with the cusco pressure plate it should rape.

good deal, Freebies are always nice, a buddy of mine got a 1000 dollar nismo un-sprung hub race clutch with his Sr swap. I got a new OEM that I toasted in about 3 or so months lol.

where can you find kayaba clutch disk?

i googled and all i got was KYB sites since i gues KYB is known as (kayaba)is that the company?

if so thats weird cuz i thought they made suspension parts.

i got the same thing when i searched for it as well. take all the "a"'s out of the name and thats what you get lol. thats why i didnt know if that company made the disc for someone else. id like to know who makes it as well.

Anyone know off hand what the torque specs are on the flywheel and clutch pressure plate?

id normally just say look in the FSM..

but since we have the same clutch, im feeling a bit more kipper

Pressure plate to flywheel = 16-22 ft. LBsFlywheel = not sure, i think its around 75 ft lbs. but dont quote me.

I dont know where to find Kayaba ones per say, but cusco makes one exactly the same. You can get it here: http://www.perfectrun.com.au/p...h.htm

Its the metal one, not the copper single. 20400 Yen is about $184.20. You can use the stock pressure plate, but I would recommend the cusco one.
