3" Piping

A friend of mine is giving me some 3 inch piping for a 240sx and i was wondering if i put it on my car with no turbo will i lose power bececause of the piping size.

You can lose a little low end..but High end will breathe much easier. You'll run through the rpm's quicker. At least thats what I felt.

Not true. The current consensus is that 3" piping is good for the KA. It'll be LOUD, but you will gain power without losing bottom end.

I second that and also say it will be to dam loud unless you put a resonator on it.

My KADE with the GP Sports Spec D is 80mm 1 bend and no res. its LOUD!!!! it isnt irritating though

ive ehard tis a lot quiter on turbos

oh, and i can feel a gain uptop, but as previously stated, i ahvent felt a LOSS of anything at the low end
